Whether it's for breakfast or an after-school snack, this smoothie tastes great and is super healthy.

Have you ever gotten stuck in a boring routine? I know I have! This morning, we couldn't decide on what to eat for breakfast until my brother reminded us of our strawberry banana smoothie. Although it doesn't look like much, it is full of protein from the almond flour and has other healthy elements that you can't taste. Say hello to a great morning!

  • 1 1/2 cups strawberries

  • 1 banana peeled and cut

  • 1/2 cup of orange juice

  • 1/2 cup nonfat vanilla yogurt

  • 1/2 cup small ice cubes

  • 1/2 cup milk

  • 2 tbs of flax seed (optional)

  • 2 tbs of chia seeds (optional)

  1. Gather and measure all ingredients

  2. In a blender, mix the ingredients until smooth and thick. Serve immediately.

  3. Do you have any suggestions? Any questions? Comment!
