As you all know, my family lives on a farm and we currently have six chickens. After about 2-3 years, the chickens begin slowing down egg production and we go out and get new chicks. This is one of my FAVORITE PARTS of spring. We got a total of eight chickens, one of them being an americana. Those lay blue eggs! They are currently living in our mudroom since they are only a week old and would get cold outside. We will soon move them to a box in the potting shed in our barn when it gets warmer. Honestly, I am kinda ready to send them out because they are stinking up the entrance!

Every time we get new animals, we name them with the letter that represents the number of years we've been at this house. Since we've been here 8 years, it means the letter H. We've been struggling lately to come up with unique chick names that start with H. So far we have Harry Potter and Hero. There are still six more chickens to be named! Any suggestions? Comment down below!
