My 4-H club every year hosts an Easter Egg hunt for kids in 5th grade and younger. In one of the previous meetings, we stuffed the Easter eggs with candy. We arrived early to hide the eggs. When the kids arrived, we sorted them into different groups based on their age. The groups went to their assigned area and ran to collect the eggs. The winner of each age group got the prize basket, which consisted of little toys and candy. My little brother Cooper, age 5, started jumping up and down when he realized that he got the golden egg. He did a little victory dance. When we got home, he displayed his basket and seemed so proud. I really enjoy helping out at the Easter egg hunt because I love watching the kids faces as they open their eggs and find candy. It's one of my favorite community service projects that I enjoy participating in every year.
