One of my family's favorite traditions is decorating Easter Eggs. Since there a lot of people in our family, and our chickens only lay brown eggs, we bought three dozen eggs at the store. When we got home, we poured one tablespoon of vinegar into each bowl, then filled the rest with water. While my mom, my sister, and I were doing this, my three little brothers placed newspapers on the table. This was definitely necessary because at my house, we spill a LOT! Each person got their eggs and started dipping them. I added some sharpie detailing on mine at the end. Since there were so many eggs, we end up having many egg-themed meals the following days. Everyone's favorite part is when we all have one egg left. This usually is our
most cracked egg, or egg we messed up on aka the UGLY EGG. Then, we dip our eggs into the different dyes to try create the ugliest egg. The winner of the ugly egg contest gets bragging rights, although I've never earned them because my brothers always beat me. Either way, I still enjoy spending this time with my family and celebrating Easter.
